CHALLENGES
This is hardly the first look as the Black Knights and Army nation are very familiar with North Texas having played them twice in the 2016 season. However, this North Texas team, at 7-3 on the year, seems much improved. The Mean Green wrapped up the West Division Title in Conference USA last Saturday with a dominating win over UTEP. Mean Green running back Jeffery Wilson has been solid with 1,143 yards rushing for 14 touchdowns. Meanwhile, quarterback Mason Fine has 2,812 passing yards for 22 touchdowns. Army’s defense will need to be on its toes in a hostile environment. Army will need for Forts Hood, Sam Houston, Bliss and Sill Army fans to show up in force to root the Black Knights on to their ninth victory.
