CHALLENGES
Army travels to Colorado to face Air Force in a rivalry matchup. Looking at the RPIs and Massey ratings along with the two team’s record, you’d think Army would be a sure winner in this one. However, Army is just 3-21 all-time at Air Force. Yes, this Black Knight team is a special team for Army. However, the Black Knights are facing a Falcon team that has shown significant improvement over the past four games. Gone is the ultra-tough Air Force defense from last season but the Falcon offense, led by quarterback Arion Worthman, is averaging nearly 40 points per game. Worthman has completed 38-of-76 passes for 830 yards, 9 touchdowns. He has also run for 764 yards on 188 carries for 13 scores. This game is going to be a battle till the end.
