Challenges for Army
This is a working trip for Army. They are there to make money for West Point athletics. The trip would be much more valuable if the Black Knights could come home with a win. That’s an unlikely happening to most college football observers. However, you can bet that the 11 Army football players who are on the field at any time during the game will all believe that victory is coming. Oklahoma always has a top notch quarterback. Last week at Iowa State Kyler Murray threw for a career-high 348 yards three touchdowns. Wide receiver Marquise Brown ranks fifth nationally in receiving yards per game (137.3). The Sooner defense doesn’t boast phenomenal stats but they’ve been good enough to win their first three contests.
Army has nothing to lose on Saturday. No one gives them a chance except themselves. If Oklahoma has problems defending the option this could get interesting.
