Challenges

This is a huge challenge but also a big opportunity for the Army Black Knights. Ohio State’s offensive linemen all weigh over 310 pounds, including the center. The Buckeyes are coached by one of the best in the business, Urban Meyer. This game is going to take a mammoth effort by the Cadets to win.  Army does have a chance in this game. If they play clean ball and find some way to prevent long bombs from getting the Bucks to the end zone multiple times, Army has a chance. Army also needs to find some way to improve its passing game which has been very poor so far. Last year Army had a solid passing threat to keep defenses honest. That has vanished this season with the departure of the Poe brothers and Chris Carter’s struggles in the classroom. If Army’s offense can execute the option to near perfection while the Cadet defense forces some turnovers and punts, the BKs could shock the college football world and get to 3-0.

Saturday’s game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Fox.
